Effectiveness of a Story and Play Educational Package in Promoting Self-Esteem in Children

This is an academic article reporting a quasi-experimental study on children's self-esteem. The research tested a therapeutic package combining storytelling and play on improving self-esteem in children, using a pretest-posttest design with a control group. The stories and games used in the intervention had their content validity confirmed by specialists before being applied. The study frames self-esteem as a subjective evaluation of one's worth as a human being, comparing it to a conscious immune system that protects children from developing psychological disorders, and argues that building its foundations in childhood is essential.
