About this work
This is a collection of short Persian verse fables or moral tales, each built around a brief scene: a rose speaking to itself, a wolf conversing with a dog far from the flock, a small child placing a crown of flowers on his head, a cunning thief plotting a theft, and a drop of tears that is heard. Each piece captures a moment charged with implied meaning, presenting characters and situations that gesture toward broader truths about nature, innocence, deception, and feeling.
