این مقاله به بررسی تجربه و دیدگاه دانشجویان درس آموزش زبان انگلیسی به کودکان در استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای Cartoon Story Maker و Comic Life برای ساخت داستان‌های کوتاه می‌پردازد. پژوهش در یک کلاس در غرب جاوا با سی دانشجو انجام شده و از روش کیفی با ابزار پرسشنامه و مصاحبه بهره گرفته است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد دانشجویان چه دیدگاهی نسبت به این ابزارها دارند و در مسیر استفاده از آن‌ها با چه چالش‌ها و مشکلاتی روبه‌رو شده‌اند.
