این مقاله به بررسی حذفهایی میپردازد که در ترجمهی انگلیسی و چینی داستان شنلقرمزی دیده میشود. پژوهش بر روی نسخهی لِرای از این داستان (۲۰۱۱) و ترجمهی چینی آن که توسط گرین و گرین (۱۹۵۳) ویراسته و منتشر شده، متمرکز است. هدف اصلی، تحلیل تأثیرات زبانی فرهنگپذیری و بررسی راهبردهای ترجمه در انتقال مؤلفههای میانفرهنگی است. این مقاله نشان میدهد که مترجمان در فرایند بومیسازی چه چیزهایی را حذف کردهاند و این حذفها چه پیامدهای زبانی و فرهنگی داشتهاند.
Abstract The study examines omissions in the English version of Little Red Riding Hood in contrast to the Chinese one. The research is aimed at studying the linguistic effects of inculturation and the choice of translation strategies to convey a truthful intercultural component.
